Job Description
Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance - Crew F Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment during the Crew F shift. This individual will lead a team of maintenance professionals responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, facility performance, and workplace safety while supporting production objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience managing maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement, preventative maintenance initiatives, and team development. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to support daily facility and production operations.
Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Manage maintenance budgets, inventories, and procurement of parts, tools, and supplies.
Oversee facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and building infrastructure.
Respond to equipment failures and facility emergencies, driving rapid resolution and corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel to enhance technical skills and leadership capabilities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and regulatory documentation.
Monitor key maintenance metrics and implement action plans to improve performance.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building systems.
Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis abilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
CompensationThe expected salary range for this position is $108,877 - $163,316 annually, based on factors such as experience, education, technical expertise, certifications, geographic location, and overall qualifications. Why Apply?
