Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance technician to join our growing property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of our apartment and housing communities and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of the property and units to identify maintenance needs Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective repairs Conduct repairs and maintenance in various areas including drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents Maintain and troubleshoot building systems and equipment Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory Assist in emergency maintenance situations, including after-hours on-call support Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their concerns professionally
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in apartment maintenance or similar role preferred Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety practices Ability to troubleshoot and repair various issues in a timely manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts as needed
