Responsibilities Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on building interior systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical equipment. Utilize hand tools, schematics, electrical equipment repair tools, and ohmmeters to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently. Perform HVAC system repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal climate control within the facility. Maintain facilities equipment by troubleshooting electrical work, plumbing systems, and performing maintenance painting as needed. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify problems and implement solutions. Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and interior building upkeep to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), with strong mechanical knowledge across various systems. Hands-on experience with electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system troubleshooting, and facilities equipment maintenance. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams; familiarity with electrical equipment repair is essential. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices for troubleshooting. Knowledge of residential painting techniques along with general carpentry skills for building interior maintenance projects. Prior supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and report issues clearly. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
