Industrial Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing | $22+ Based on Experience Penmac Staffing is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing facility in the Independence, KS area. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently. Pay & Schedule Starting pay of $22+ per hour, based on experience Full-time position Initial training on day shift (7:00am-3:00pm), then transition to assigned shift Temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to be hired on by the client Requirements for the Industrial Maintenance Technician Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics Valid driver's license High School Diploma or GED Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen Preferred Qualifications PLC troubleshooting or programming experience Welding or fabrication experience 2-year engineering technology degree or equivalent hands-on experience Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment Identify mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems Assist with PLC systems, ladder logic, and industrial electrical systems Support facility maintenance needs, including HVAC, plumbing, and welding repairs Apply online today or contact Penmac Independence at (620) 331-7600 for more information.
