Whether it's supplying a unique product that customizes the look and feel of their ride, providing thousands of educational videos for the DIYer or leveraging user generated content to inspire even the most experienced owner, we are obsessed with ensuring we reach as many like-minded gearheads across the globe. The Facilities Technician Level III reports to the Facilities Manager and maintains and troubleshoots building systems. The role requires advanced skills in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic and mechanical systems, with a strong focus on electrical systems, PLCs, and sortation controls to keep production running at peak performance. This technician responds to critical and emergency issues, prioritizes multiple projects, and makes independent decisions based on facility needs. Year 1 is going to be about: Building Maintenance
- Performs general facility repairs such as minor plumbing, general to advanced electrical, lighting, and rack repair.
- Supports and performs reactive repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment, including the assembly/disassembly of pneumatic sub-systems.
- Performs preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment as needed. Maintains detailed inventory list of all equipment assets within the building. Supports the design and implementation of continuous improvement processes. Electrical
- Maintains and troubleshoots all electrical systems within the building including low and high voltage electrical and control systems. Will work with 110-to-480-volt devices (AC and DC), including repair or replacement of system components. Facility Cleanliness / Safety
- Oversees and ensures the maintenance shop area is organized, neat, and clean. Abide by all stated regulations while performing works, i.e., lockout/tag out procedures, etc. Fabrication
- Utilize materials and tools to design/create/repair custom equipment to support the operation (i.e., wood, metal, etc.). Other Duties / Projects
- Must have the ability to read blueprints, manuals and schematics and interpret technical manuals.
