Job Description
Maintenance Technician As a Maintenance Technician, you have duties and responsibilities that must be accomplished.
These duties include:
Specified Duties :
Those related to assigned process area and positions. Be proficient and knowledgeable on facility directives, regulations, and safety practices that affect performance.Directed Duties:
Those issued by superiors orally or in writing; these duties are not specifically outlined in the facility control plan.Implied Duties:
Often support specified duties, but in some cases, they may not be related to the assigned job position (i.e., cross training). These duties may not be written but implied in instructions. They are duties that improve the quality of the job and help keep the facility functioning at an optimum level. General Job Description Maintenance Technicianswill be r esponsible for keeping the facility operational, preserving the condition and operational functionality of the premises. Technician will be performing a wide range of tasks around the facility repairing equipment, machinery and any other maintenance required tasks. Duties and Responsibilities- Survey building and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, and all other jobs required to keep equipment functioning properly.
- Conduct repairs on down equipment.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Conduct regular cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Keep up to date maintenance records on all equipment.
- Complete assigned projects.
- Utilize eMaint to communicate and record progress on job duties.
- Operate floor scrubber.
- Assist with lab support when asked.
- Performs tank cleanout.
- Operate and maintain scissor lift or boom lift when required.
- Maintain safety in accordance with company policies.
- Notify Maintenance Manager of any existing or potential safety issues.
- Wear designated PPE.
- Bending, standing, and lifting required.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Support facility with On-call situations and/or emergency situations.
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks when requested. Preferred Skills
- Fork truck certified.
- Trained on lockout/tag and confined spaces.
- Basic Electrical, mechanical, pipefitting and welding. Qualification and Education Requirements
- Must be able to lift part up to 50 lbs.
- 18yrs of age or older.
- Pervious maintenance experience preferred.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Competencies

Pay:
$25.00- $35.
