Bardstown Motor Lodge is looking for a Hotel General Maintenance Technician (PT) The Hotel General Maintenance (PT) position entails maintaining the physical environment (inside/outside) for assigned buildings, executing work orders, performing landscaping duties, servicing the pool, and ensuring the building is clean and stocked with supplies. Responsibilities Performs maintenance of electrical systems (replacing light bulbs, ballast, outlets, switches) Maintains heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Provide preventative maintenance of HVAC systems (air handler coils cleaned, replace filters and belts) Conducts general upkeep (landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, appliances, drywall, windows, etc.) Performs manual repairs when necessary. Keeps the pool clean and up to safety standards. Reports any unsafe conditions to Management. Conducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum high school or GED required. Previous experience in hotel maintenance is preferred but not required. Weekend availability Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems Strong knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Must possess a valid driver's license Deadline, detail and customer service-oriented Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
