Maintenance Handyman — Residential Property Bowling Green, KY Job Overview We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Handyman to keep our residential property running smoothly, safely, and looking its best. In this role, you'll handle a wide range of repairs and upkeep across our buildings and apartment units, ensuring a comfortable environment for our residents. If you take pride in solving problems, working independently, and making a visible impact every day, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Complete building and apartment repairs, including small plumbing fixes.
Handle full apartment turns:
painting, drywall, flooring, cleaning, and general repairs. Carry out carpentry work such as repairing doors, windows, cabinetry, and other interior fixtures. Complete interior painting projects to a clean, professional standard. Respond to resident and staff maintenance requests promptly and courteously. Follow all safety protocols to protect residents, property, and yourself. Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) or facilities maintenance. Hands-on skill with HVAC and plumbing repair and servicing. Competence in residential painting, basic carpentry, and drywall/flooring work. Comfortable using hand tools, testing devices (e.g., multimeters/ohmmeters), and reading basic schematics for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset. Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
