Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Maintenance Millwright is primarily two-fold. First, to be a great Nucor team member who demonstrates high levels of honesty, integrity, and ownership in everything they do. Second, is to ensure the success of the team by SAFELY performing Preventative and Corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems, as well as proposing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Mechanical Skills and Fundamental Knowledge Experience Troubleshooting Mechanical Systems 2+ years' experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance and 1+ years' experience in steel mill or related metals industry. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, Nucor Steel Brandenburg will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Rolling Mill and/or Melt Shop mechanical maintenance
