Corbin and Williamsburg, KY About the Position A local apartment ownership group is hiring a full-time maintenance technician to care for residential rental properties in Corbin, Williamsburg, and Middlesboro. This is a steady, hands-on job for someone who takes pride in keeping properties in good shape and treating residents with respect. Pay is negotiable and based on your experience and skill set — if you bring more to the table, we'll pay for it. What You'll Do Complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs Turn vacant units: patch and paint, flooring, cleaning, punch-list repairs, and make-ready work Handle carpentry and drywall repairs, door and lock work, window and screen repairs Maintain grounds and common areas Perform preventive maintenance and routine property inspections Keep track of parts and supplies, and let ownership know when materials are needed Respond to occasional after-hours emergencies (water leaks, no heat, lockouts) Communicate professionally with residents and document completed work What We're Looking For Prior apartment, rental property, or general maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in all weather Dependable, honest, and able to work without close supervision Must pass a background check HVAC or EPA certification is a plus but not required Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional emergency calls.
