Overview Join our dynamic team as a Garage Door Technician and become a vital part of delivering top-quality garage door solutions to our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of garage doors and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of garage doors across residential and commercial properties. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and are eager to develop their skills in construction, mechanical repair, and electrical work. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your technical knowledge while providing exceptional customer service. We handle residential and commercial garage doors and operators. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of garage doors, openers, and related hardware using hand tools and power tools. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and building codes to ensure precise installation and compliance with safety standards. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involved in door hanging, frame carpentry, drywall installation, metal stud framing, and fabrication projects. Conduct electrical work related to garage door openers, including wiring connections and electrical troubleshooting. Use welding equipment and fabrication techniques to modify or repair metal components as needed. Read and interpret technical schematics to accurately assemble or repair mechanical systems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs or installations clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Experience Previous garage door experience
REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of residential garage door systems Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Dependable and punctual Professional appearance and customer-service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to safely lift and handle garage doors and equipment and not be afraid of heights.
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
