Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Robot Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing robotic systems and associated industrial equipment within manufacturing environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of robotic automation systems, contributing to increased efficiency and safety on the production floor. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic systems and industrial equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues utilizing electrical diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers. Repair and calibrate robots and related machinery to meet operational standards, ensuring precision in movement and functionality. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to diagnose system faults accurately. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history. Conduct troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems to identify root causes of failures. Operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access during maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and reading electrical schematics. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics, welding (stick welding), and equipment repair. Familiarity with hydraulic systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, and the use of precision measuring instruments. Ability to interpret engineering schematics and blueprints accurately for effective repairs. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and electrical blueprint reading. Knowledge of CMMS platforms for maintenance management; technical sales experience is a plus. Valid certification or experience with HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts operation, industrial electrician work, and welding processes. Excellent analysis skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex equipment issues in fast-paced environments. Fluency in English with strong communication skills essential for collaboration across teams.
