General Maintenance Technician Location:
Owensboro, KY |
Schedule:

Job Summary As a General Maintenance Technician, you are the backbone of our production floor. You will ensure our precision equipment and facilities run at peak performance. This is a "hands-on" role where you will troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with a team that values safety and efficiency. Whether you are a seasoned tech or a mechanical enthusiast looking to level up your skills, we provide the tools and training to help you succeed.
Core Responsibilities Precision Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair electrical circuits and components (480VAC and below). Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled inspections and cleaning to minimize downtime.
Mechanical & Fluid Power:
Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, and pumps.
Facility Care:
Support the safety and function of the building, including minor welding, piping, and HVAC tasks.
Continuous Improvement:
Use the "5S" framework to keep the maintenance shop and production floor organized and world-class. What We're Looking For (Required Skills)
Mechanical Aptitude:
A strong understanding of how industrial machinery works and a passion for fixing things.
Electrical Safety:
Experience with (or the ability to learn) safe work practices around energized circuits.
Problem-Solving Mindset:
The ability to look at a machine failure, find the root cause, and implement a fix.
Adaptability:
Comfortable working from ladders, manlifts, or industrial trucks (we provide certification training).
Tech Savvy:
You will use computers and various apps in your daily job.
Team Player:
You work well independently but know when to coordinate with production supervisors to get the job done. High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience in industrial maintenance (Highly Preferred) .

We offer plant-specific, on-the-job training for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a base-level mechanical background.
