Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Technician, Maintenance and Electrical to join our manufacturing facility team. This is a Direct Hire position. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal plant operations. Your expertise will help sustain high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability across our production environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced industrial setting while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Follows established paperwork procedures to establish, maintain, track and complete jobs.
- Determine best possible maintenance practices and uses good techniques and judgments in work assignments.
- Observes facilities, machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair.
- Dismantles or constructs facilities, machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part.
- Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock.
- Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction.
- Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
- Uses welding skills as needed.
- Performs all preventative maintenance.
- Perform and complete electrical work and assignments with or without electrical drawings.
- Running electrical circuits, bending conduit, wiring into breaker boxes and switch gear.
- Running and bending copper to connect rectifiers.
- Conduct preventive/ongoing maintenance and trouble shooting on rectifiers.
- Compliance with all Arc Flash standards.
- Other tasks as assigned. Skills
- Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with industrial electrician experience; familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.
- Analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions efficiently.
