Job Description
At least 1 to 3 years maintenance experience.
Repairs items in a timely manner and utilizes established repair policies and procedures. Tells management about dirty and harmful working conditions and unsafe practices. Tells management when tools and supplies required for performing repairs on DC equipment are unavailable or broken. Perform required inspections. Manage and organize a clean and safe maintenance area and tool storage. Assist operations when needed.
Ability to train for the operation, care and troubleshooting Raymond MHE equipment including Order Pickers, Counter-Balance Forklifts, Swing Reach, Powered pallet jacks and dock stokers and corresponding batteries and chargers.
Experience with Dock Door levelers and doors, Cardboard balers, trash compactors, conveyance systems and pallet wrappers a plus.
HVAC experience, electrical/lighting knowledge, and light plumbing insight a plus.
Ability to train for use of Switch Truck for moving trailers within the yard.
Inspection experience of fire extinguishers, fire suppressant systems, and racking systems.
They should be Safety oriented, and any OSHA warehouse knowledge would be a positive. General mechanical and technical aptitude needed for this position.
