Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities remain in optimal condition, providing a safe and efficient environment for all. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members and may also provide leadership in specific projects. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems, ensuring they operate efficiently. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot problems. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and repair requirements. Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or improvements to existing systems. Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities. Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents. Collaborate with other technicians to complete larger projects, demonstrating leadership skills when required. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in various systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to fabricate components using various tools and materials. Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with all stakeholders. Leadership qualities that enable effective collaboration on projects and tasks. A commitment to safety practices while performing maintenance duties.
