In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our buildings through comprehensive maintenance, repair, and construction activities. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and mechanical components to ensure optimal operation. Conduct repairs on electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals; troubleshoot issues with electrical equipment using tools such as ohmmeters. Execute plumbing repairs and maintenance on residential or commercial plumbing systems, including leak detection and pipe repairs. Carry out carpentry tasks such as installing or repairing doors, windows, cabinetry, roofs, and interior fixtures to maintain building aesthetics and functionality. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks; perform welding as needed for structural repairs. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and other building infrastructure through planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules. Supervise or assist with painting projects—both interior maintenance and exterior touch-ups—using proper techniques for long-lasting results. Read schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Lead or support team efforts in facilities maintenance projects; demonstrate leadership qualities to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client requests promptly and professionally; communicate clearly with team members regarding ongoing work or issues. Qualifications Proven experience in building maintenance or construction roles with a strong background in mechanical knowledge, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC system repair. Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair, HVAC systems, plumbing system maintenance, and the use of schematics for troubleshooting. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and maintenance painting methods. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools essential for troubleshooting complex systems. Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance procedures aligned with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) standards. Supervising experience or demonstrated leadership skills in managing maintenance teams or projects is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate tasks and document work orders or reports. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
