The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the property's general condition in terms of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting. Additional functions include completing maintenance request work orders on a timely basis and participating in the preventive maintenance program for all building equipment and rooms. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain general maintenance of the exterior and interior of the property building Complete work orders promptly, including on-call requests Demonstrate the ability to resolve maintenance issues to prevent a recurrence Maintain inventory to ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are available on-site Inspect and test machinery and maintenance equipment Maintain a clean and safe environment; report unsafe conditions to the supervisor and recommend corrective action Partner with external vendors, contractors, and other maintenance team members on special projects Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities HVAC certification required Minimum of 2 years of residential/apartment maintenance experience required General residential maintenance skills required: A/C, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, electronics, drywall installation, and finishing Must be able to report to on-call maintenance shifts Physical Requirements Requires manual dexterity with normal hand/finger movement and coordination Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds at variable distances often This position involves climbing ladders at high levels for maintenance and exterior A/C repairs Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into confined, limited spaces Ability to occasionally lift, carry, position, or move heavy objects Ability to walk for long periods, including climbing flights of stairs in various weather conditions "We don't just offer a job—we offer a lifestyle!
