qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of experience completing maintenance duties and tasks. Must be at least 21 years of age with an acceptable driving record. Possess a current, valid Louisiana Class D Chauffeur's license. Must have no Type A violations, such as driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, hit and run and reckless driving. Good interpersonal skills in working with all kinds of people on a daily basis.Specific Requirements:
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served. Be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition. Must be able to transport any resident of the facility that can be transported via automobile, bus or van when needed. Must be trained or capable of being trained in "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation" (CPR) and be able to perform CPR when and if needed. Must know or be capable of being trained in the operation of a van or bus wheelchair lift and show competency. Must be capable of performing a "Daily Vehicle Safety Inspection Log" to verify the safety status of the vehicle and to report any inadequate system that may need attention to their supervisor. Must be capable of maintaining the vehicle or reporting to their supervisor an item that would need to be repaired through a reputable vehicle service repair company.Benefits:
