Job Description

1. Maintains records of preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, and safety. 2. Provides information to order supplies/parts/ and submits order as directed. 3. Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on all equipment in the facilities as assigned. 4. Lubricates mechanical equipment as needed. 5. Changes air-conditioning filters on a routine basis. 6. Completes work orders and PM's on a timely basis. 7. Notifies Director of unusual problems or questionable conditions. 8. Inspects facilities plumbing, heating, electrical systems, structures, and roofs. 9. Performs electrical safety test as required. 10. Monitors equipment for defects. 11. Secures tools, equipment and parts. 12. Maintains rooms, walls, and ceilings in accordance with pertinent codes or manuals. 13. Paints and refinishes walls, doors, fixtures and furniture as applicable. 14. Ensures compliance with hospital accreditation standards/OSHA/ and state and federal building and safety codes. 15. Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel and follows safety protocol to include quick response when a Code is called. 16. Support the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary. 17. Inspect alarm systems such as carbon dioxide and fire protection and quickly schedule repairs when needed Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. 19. Performs or assist with monthly generator testing. 20. Any other duties assigned as needed to help drive our Mission and abide by our organizations values.
