Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct repairs on kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and other appliances to minimize downtime. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system inspections. Collaborate with team members to diagnose complex issues and develop effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures related to HVAC & appliance technology. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair in commercial or industrial settings. Mechanical knowledge applicable to construction environments and equipment repair tasks. Ability to operate equipment safely within a construction or maintenance setting. Customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving. Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including inventory management of parts and tools. Strong understanding of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and air flow systems. Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.
