Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose faults accurately. Complete minor carpentry, painting, and general facility repairs to maintain the integrity and appearance of the building. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and mechanical systems through scheduled servicing and emergency repairs. Use hand tools and electrical equipment to execute maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Supervise or assist with maintenance projects involving building interior maintenance, facilities equipment upkeep, or renovations. Document all work performed in maintenance logs, schematics, and service reports; ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests and communicating clearly about repair timelines. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC system repair. Hands-on knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical work, HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repair. Skilled in carpentry, painting (including residential painting), plumbing system maintenance & repair, and the use of hand tools. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters. Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred to oversee maintenance projects or teams effectively. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members or clients. Ability to interpret technical diagrams such as schematics for electrical wiring or mechanical systems to facilitate accurate repairs.
