JOB SUMMARY
The Cleaning Assistant is responsible for assisting in the maintaining, cleaning and restoring various types of flooring at different client facilities. This role requires basic cleaning knowledge. The Cleaning Assistant needs to have strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and expertise in floor care techniques and equipment are essential for success in this role. The Cleaning Assistant requires daily traveling to different locations and crossing state line depending on route.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Restrooms:
Restroom fixtures, partitions, vents and tile walls to be cleaned and all hard water stains removed. Viper Venom/Viper Renew or like chemicals are recommended on ceramic tile floors. Drinking fountains, sacrament prep, kitchen sinks and mother's rooms sinks to be cleaned, and hard water stains/calcium deposits removed Baptism fonts to be cleaned and hard water stains/calcium deposits removed Perform regular floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Follow proper safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and operating equipment. Maintain and perform basic maintenance on floor care equipment. Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete tasks within specified timeframes. Report any damages, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to supervisors. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial floor care or related field. Experience operating various floor care equipment and machinery preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Reliable transportation to travel between jobs Ability to read and follow product labels and safety data sheets (SDS). Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds of equipment or supplies. Physical stamina to operate heavy floor care equipment for several hours. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently throughout the workday. Manual dexterity to operate various tools and equipment. Tolerance for exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional loud noise from equipment. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures

$20.00 per hour
