This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of keeping a property running smoothly and efficiently. Position Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for handling day-to-day service requests, preventative maintenance, make readies, and overall property upkeep . This position requires a strong, well-rounded skill set and the ability to work independently while supporting the team. Key Responsibilities Service Requests & Repairs Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner Troubleshoot and repair issues in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry Communicate clearly with residents and team members regarding work performed Property Maintenance & Operations Maintain overall property condition, including common areas, pools, and grounds Assist with preventative maintenance programs Ensure vacant units are maintained and ready for make-ready as needed Identify and report larger repair needs or safety concerns Team & Operational Support Assist with unit turns when needed Participate in property inspections and walks Be available for on-call or emergency maintenance Qualifications 1+ years of apartment maintenance or related experience preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair Ability to diagnose and problem-solve efficiently Reliable transportation and basic tools required EPA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong work ethic and accountability What We're Looking For A doer —someone who shows up ready to work and get things done A team player who supports the property and coworkers without finger-pointing Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting skills Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional community Consistent, dependable, and detail-aware Why Join GC Multifamily?
