Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various facility systems, ensuring optimal operation of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment.

Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutionsRespond promptly to emergency situations including fire, power outages, and utility leaksPerform regular equipment inspections and maintain detailed maintenance recordsConduct preventative maintenance procedures according to established schedulesIdentify and report major repair needs or system upgrades to managementEnsure compliance with safety protocols and maintenance standardsMaintain organized documentation of all maintenance activities and repairsQualificationsHigh school diploma required; trade school graduate or equivalent experience preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial maintenanceDemonstrated proficiency in operating hand and power tools safelyAbility to read and interpret technical materials, schematics, and blueprintsPhysical capability to lift 50+ pounds and perform maintenance tasksStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with emergency response proceduresExcellent documentation and record-keeping abilitiesBasic computer skills for maintenance management systemsMust be at least 21 years of ageAbility to obtain and maintain required certifications and licensesStrong communication skills and attention to detailKnowledge of safety protocols and industry standardsAdditional InformationBoyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
