•$20.00 / hour (Depending on experience) Job Summary We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Data Entry and Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing team in Kenner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing incoming payments, and managing frontline phone communications. The ideal candidate has excellent numerical skills, high accuracy in data entry, and a collaborative attitude.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable:
Prepare, verify, and send customer invoices; accurately post daily payments (checks, ACH, credit cards).
Data Entry:
Input customer, vendor, and billing information into our system with high speed and precision.
Phone Management:
Answer incoming phone calls, route inquiries to the correct department, and take accurate messages.
Collections & Follow-Up:
Monitor aging reports and make polite, professional inquiries to customers regarding past-due balances.
Administrative Support:
Maintain physical and digital filing systems, and assist the finance team with basic clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts receivable, or a dedicated data entry/receptionist role.
Phone Etiquette:
Polite, professional, and energetic phone manners with a customer-first attitude.
Software:
Experience utilizing an ERP system and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong 10-key data entry speed with a high level of accuracy.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional customer interactions.
Location:
