Monroe, LA Position Overview Standard Enterprises Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated REAC Construction Team Member to help maintain and improve our properties. This role focuses on completing maintenance tasks, keeping properties clean and safe, and supporting overall operations.
Note:
This position requires travel 4 days per week (10-hour days) , with occasional Friday work as needed . Key Responsibilities Complete service requests on time and report completion Respond to emergencies and notify supervisor when needed Perform general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, etc.) Assist with make-ready units and remove trash from vacant units Keep property, parking lots, dumpster areas, and common spaces clean Clean breezeways, remove cobwebs, and replace light bulbs Maintain laundry and shop areas Identify and report safety hazards Assist team members with moving appliances Complete special projects as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED 2+ years of related experience (commercial maintenance preferred) Knowledge of general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) Ability to use tools and equipment safely Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team Good customer service and communication skills Willingness to learn and grow skills Valid driver's license required Must have a reliable, insured vehicle Physical Requirements Ability to lift 75 lbs. and move appliances Climb ladders (up to 30 ft), work on roofs, and in tight spaces Bend, stoop, and work in various positions Work in outdoor conditions and varying temperatures Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day
