Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in automobiles, dump trucks, excavating equipment and diesel engines. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including equipment repair, electrical systems and welding, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Change tires on dump trucks and trailers Conduct welding repairs and fabrication as needed for machinery or structural components. Maintain electrical systems by replacing wiring, switches, motors, and other components. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities. Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance for tracking purposes. Experience Proven experience in equipment and vehicles with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical circuits, and using tools like Ohmmeters. Skilled in welding techniques suitable for industrial repairs.
