Job Duties Replace light bulbs and light fixtures as needed Install and replace ceiling fans Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance Complete minor electrical and general maintenance tasks Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Maintain clean and safe work areas throughout the property Perform other general maintenance duties as assigned Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred. Experience Requirements Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
