A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Flexible / As Needed We are seeking an experienced and dependable Hotel Maintenance Technician to assist with maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep at our hotel property on an as-needed basis . we are looking for an experienced maintenance professional who can be contacted when repairs, maintenance issues, or projects arise. There are no long-term commitments or set hours required . If we are satisfied with the quality, reliability, and professionalism of your work, we would like to continue utilizing you for future maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in hotel, motel, apartment, property maintenance, or a similar environment and should be comfortable handling a wide variety of maintenance requests independently. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Troubleshooting and repairing hotel key card locks and electronic door lock systems Repairing, adjusting, and replacing doors, door frames, locks, handles, hinges, and hardware Completing general hotel maintenance work orders Interior and exterior painting and touch-up work Drywall patching and minor wall repairs Minor plumbing repairs Minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs within your experience and qualifications Repairing fixtures, hardware, and other items inside hotel rooms General carpentry and maintenance repairs Preventative maintenance Identifying maintenance problems and recommending appropriate repairs Assisting with room repairs and preparation when needed Maintaining a clean and professional work area Communicating clearly with management regarding completed work, needed materials, and additional repairs Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience is strongly preferred Experience with key card/electronic hotel door lock systems is highly preferred Familiarity with hotel maintenance work orders and room maintenance procedures General knowledge of painting, doors, locks, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and property repairs Must be comfortable troubleshooting problems and working independently Must be dependable and responsive when accepting a job Must perform work in a professional and timely manner Must have reliable transportation Must have appropriate tools for general maintenance work Ability to properly communicate what repairs were completed and identify any additional issues found Position Details This position is strictly as needed . Hours are not guaranteed, and there is no required minimum number of hours per week. We may contact you when maintenance requests, repairs, or special projects arise.
