Maintenance Mechanic - II LSE Staffing Andover, MA Job Details Full-time $36.21 - $39.00 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications CMMS Manufacturing facility experience Continuous improvement Electrical maintenance Scissor lift Full Job Description Our client is looking to bring on a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic. This is a 2nd shift direct hire opportunity. Duties The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. This position supports smooth daily operations and helps minimize downtime across the organization. Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Repair and replace defective parts through welding (stick welding), equipment troubleshooting, and component refurbishment to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks efficiently. Conduct electrical diagnostics on low voltage and high voltage systems, including electrical blueprint reading and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or systems requiring maintenance or repair. Collaborate with engineering teams on system schematics interpretation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming troubleshooting, and process improvements. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to electrical systems, high voltage areas, and industrial mechanics standards. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including diagnosing issues with electrical systems using multimeters (voltmeter, ammeter), schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Skilled in mechanical repairs involving precision measuring instruments, welding (stick welding), hydraulics, pneumatics troubleshooting, and equipment repair. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including installation, repair, and diagnostics; ability to operate HVAC tools such as refrigerant gauges is a plus. Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with engineering troubleshooting methods is preferred. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, and industrial electrician practices. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters; strong understanding of electrical safety standards. You will receive a 2nd shift differential.

$36.21 - $39.00 per hour
