Job Summary We are seeking a Principal Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the Medical Business at our Attleboro, MA site. This role will be responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained in satisfactory condition for all required production and manufacturing operations. The Principal Maintenance Specialist will also maintain, repair and troubleshoot the factory machinery by ensuring minimal down time. This individual is responsible for upkeep of machinery and facilities and should have a variety of skills including plumbing, electricity, and carpentry. Main Responsibilities Support all Exposure manufacturing lines using mechanical skills to adjust, repair, replace and perform scheduled preventative maintenance for all equipment for optimum operating conditions. Use mechanical skills when making observations in each situation, followed by a systematic step-by-step method to minimize machine downtime. Repair and maintain Exposure machinery and equipment including but not limited to, mechanical maintenance, plumbing & troubleshooting, and light electrical maintenance, and production equipment. Responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair to include motors, solenoids, fuses, lamps, sensors, and light machine wiring. Perform plumbing repairs using glued PVC, CPVC, welded polypro, steel plumbing, and flexible tubing / hose as required. Work with valves, pumps, clutches, belts, and motor troubleshooting, repair and/or replacement. Organize and maintain spare parts inventory & tools used within the facility. Perform setups, alignments and productions startups. Document all work performed, equipment location, time and parts used Follow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Vendors and Contractors. Use standard computer skills to navigate and edit machine software. Learn other complex equipment over time. Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Mechanically inclined with advanced technical precision. Strong oral and written communication skills. At least 8 years' experience in skilled trades (Machine Maintenance & Facility Maintenance). Self-motivation to follow through on daily assignments. Strong analytical, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills required. Be able to read and understand all manufacturing related component blueprints. Proficient in measurement equipment. The ability to run highly complex precise equipment. High level of professionalism. Experience handling and working in an environment with hazardous chemicals such as sulfuric acids, ferric and cupric chlorides, and chlorine is a plus. Experience with chemical etchant equipment is a plus. Hand-eye coordination and dexterity is a plus. Ability to use Machine Shop equipment is a plus. Machine validation experience is a plus. Clean room gowning and etiquette Rotating 12 hour day shift
