MECHANIC B
, Research Laboratory of Electronics , will be responsible for providing a broad range of facilities, maintenance, and technical support services across laboratory, office, classroom, and conference environments, which may include assisting faculty, researchers, students, and staff. Such duties include, but are not limited to assembling, building, constructing, disassembling, fabricating, installing, maintaining, modifying, receiving, relocating, repairing, and unpacking furniture, fixtures, equipment, specialized items, laboratory equipment, research apparatus, office furniture, and related infrastructure. Will maintain laboratories, offices, conference rooms, shops, storage areas, common spaces, tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, safe, and organized condition, which may include minor repairs, painting, and other miscellaneous facility improvements; set up, arrange, and break down conference rooms, classrooms, and event spaces for meetings, seminars, conferences, and special events; and transport materials, supplies, and equipment between facilities, which may involve driving departmental vehicles.
