  • We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic in our Headquarters in Canton.
The employee in this position is responsible to perform a wide variety of mechanical tasks to include preventative maintenance, equipment installation, to support the maintenance department, ad hoc repairs of equipment breakdowns, handle general facility aintenance, as well as miscellaneous duties as assigned. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Responsibilities Include
  • Handling of general facility maintenance General office and manufacturing maintenance Lubrication/oil changing of heavy production machinery Repair/replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, etc.
Modify existing structural components to comply with safety regulations, cost saving measures as required Perform all duties while maintaining high quality with every day thoughts for Environment, Health and safety Other tasks as assigned by manager Experience troubleshooting PLCs is highly preferred. We Need Your Skills The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications
  • High School Degree 5 + years of experience industrial mechanical experience in a production environment Prior forklift certification Familiarity with environmental, health and safety regulations Personal Skills And Requirements
  • Must possess good mechanical aptitude and be able to analyze and troubleshoot problems Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders and controls Extrusion and sheet line experience a plus Ability to use hand tools Technical understanding Ability to read/write English Knowledge of basic electricity a plus, but not necessary Knowledge of Windows based computer software Capable of working without direct supervision Valid driver's license in good standing Physical Requirements•Ability to kneel, bend, stand, and walk for the majority of the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Able to climb stairs and ladders Ability to kneel, bend, stand, and walk for the majority of the shift Adequate vision A bit about us:•We are a leading supplier of specialty chemical products and industrial materials serving construction and industrial markets.
