Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-service-oriented Temporary Maintenance Technician to assist with day-to-day property upkeep for a 78 Unit apartment complex in Dalton. This role focuses heavily on preventative maintenance, residential service requests, turnover preparation, and resident satisfaction. This is anticipated to last at least 3 months. This is a 40 hour week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with no on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Apartment Turnovers:
Prepare vacant units for incoming residents, including painting, repairing walls, and deep cleaning.
Systems & Appliance Maintenance:
Diagnose, repair, or replace basic plumbing and heating configurations, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and major appliances.
Work Orders & Customer Service:
Complete resident service requests efficiently while maintaining a professional, respectful, and friendly demeanor as a company representative.
Janitorial & Grounds:
Maintain exceptional interior and exterior cleanliness, including carpet cleaning. (
Note:
Primary snow removal is outsourced).
Preventative Care:
Implement long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes to ensure property longevity.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven professional property maintenance experience is required.
Autonomy:
Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision and consistently meet tight deadlines.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to continuously lift heavy items, climb stairs, and comfortably use ladders.
Transportation:
Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation.
Background Check:
