Zamboni Driver Job Description Job Description:

Applicant must be 18 years+ to operate the resurfacing machine. Preferred but not required is knowledge of the ice making process, including but not limited to dry cutting, edging, etc. Training can be provided to the right candidate. Knowledge of cooling systems , general HVAC, general maintenance is also a plus. Applicant must have a valid Driver's License and be legally authorized to work. Must be able to work independently, exercising judgement and initiative.

Work Hours:

Work hours will include early mornings, nights, and weekends. In addition to driving the resurfacing machine, the applicant will be responsible for the cleanliness of the facility (vacuuming, mopping locker rooms & bleachers, etc.)

Physical Demands:

Applicant must be able to lift 75 lbs. which would be required to put the nets on the ice surface. As well as other tasks around the facility. Applicant should be in good physical condition.

Personal Skills:

Applicant must exhibit a high level of positive customer service skills and be able to handle large crowds and enforce the rules of the Arena in a respectful and professional manner. It is important to represent the Arena in the best possible way. Additional responsibilities may be required on a day to day basis.
