Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation during the second shift. Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory of parts and supplies. Repair and maintain components and related controls to ensure proper production throughout the facility. Operate industrial tools such as stick welders, fork lifts, and other heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions quickly. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and inventory tracking. Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, including working with electrical blueprint reading, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems. Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers. Ability to diagnose issues using electrical testing tools and analyze system performance effectively. Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of industrial equipment repair—including motors, gearboxes, conveyors—and preventive maintenance techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, low voltage/high voltage systems, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety compliance and quality standards. Effective communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and document technical procedures clearly.
