Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Machine Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of manufacturing machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, HVAC/R units, and other automated equipment to identify root causes efficiently. Conduct welding tasks including stick welding and other fabrication activities to repair or modify equipment as needed. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future maintenance activities. Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts and ensure safety compliance during all maintenance procedures. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues and implementing equipment upgrades or modifications for improved performance. Experience Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial maintenance environment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical blueprint reading, and repairing industrial equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems within an industrial setting. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including high voltage and low voltage electrical maintenance. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics for accurate diagnostics. Experience operating heavy machinery such as scissor lifts and performing field service tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical blueprints accurately while following safety protocols. Strong analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively communicate issues and solutions with team members and other departments.
