Job Summary We are seeking a proactive, skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician who can keep our facilities, equipment, vehicles, and day-to-day operations running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a problem solver and self-starter who can diagnose issues, think critically, and figure out solutions on the fly. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and handling a wide variety of maintenance and repair projects. You don't need to be an expert in every trade, but you should be mechanically inclined, resourceful, proactive, and confident working with your hands. Key Responsibilities Welding & Fabrication Perform basic to intermediate welding and metal repairs. Repair, modify, and fabricate brackets, frames, guards, fixtures, and other equipment as needed. Identify when a repair or fabrication solution can prevent future problems. Plumbing & Pumps Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues. Work with water pumps, drains, valves, hoses, fittings, and related equipment. Diagnose pump and water-flow problems and make necessary repairs or adjustments. Basic Electrical Troubleshoot basic electrical problems. Replace switches, outlets, fixtures, wiring, breakers, and other basic electrical components when appropriate. Safely identify electrical issues and determine when a problem requires a licensed electrician. Lifts & Pallet Jacks Perform basic maintenance and repairs on lifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues. Perform routine inspections and identify potential problems before equipment fails. Brakes, Tires & Equipment Perform basic maintenance and repairs involving brakes, tires, wheels, and other mechanical components. Inspect equipment and vehicles for wear, damage, or safety concerns. Handle routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment operational. Box Trucks & Garage Doors Maintain and repair box truck doors, hinges, latches, rollers, tracks, seals, and related components. Perform basic maintenance and repairs on garage doors and door hardware. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate outside service when necessary. Building & Property Maintenance Perform general building maintenance and repairs. Handle basic carpentry, painting, drywall, doors, locks, fixtures, and other property repairs. Maintain work areas, storage areas, equipment areas, and exterior property. Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the property. Problem Solving & Preventative Maintenance Think critically and troubleshoot problems rather than simply treating the symptom. Diagnose unfamiliar issues and determine the most practical solution. Be able to figure things out on the fly using experience, common sense, research, and available resources. Identify potential problems before they become expensive repairs or operational disruptions. Take ownership of maintenance issues from identification through completion. Recommend improvements that make equipment and facilities safer, more reliable, and more efficient. Someone who sees a broken piece of equipment and thinks, "Let's figure out what's wrong and get it working." Someone who doesn't wait for a problem to become an emergency, but notices the loose bolt, worn tire, leaking pump, damaged door, or failing piece of equipment and takes care of it before it becomes a bigger issue.
