Job Description

Role Overview:
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting commercial and industrial (C&I) solar PV systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial solar PV systems. Troubleshoot central and string inverters, including SMA, Fronius, SolarEdge, ABB/FIMER, and similar equipment. Diagnose DC/AC electrical issues, wiring faults, communication problems, and equipment failures. Monitor system performance through
DAS/SCADA
platforms and respond to alarms. Conduct inspections, testing, equipment repairs, and component replacements. Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and equipment manuals. Perform electrical testing such as voltage, continuity, insulation resistance, and thermal inspections. Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and site documentation. Follow
OSHA, NFPA
70E, NEC, and company safety procedures. Coordinate with remote operations teams, vendors, and site management to resolve issues efficiently. Travel to commercial solar sites as needed for maintenance and troubleshooting.
Pay:
$50.00 - $58.00 per hour
