Job Description
#INDEED Maintenance Mechanic Position Summary The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse and distribution environment. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with conveyor systems and industrial equipment, can independently perform routine troubleshooting and repairs, and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient operation. The Maintenance Mechanic works closely with Operations, and other Maintenance staff to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance & Repair Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes. Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Observe equipment operation and identify potential mechanical failures or performance issues. Remove, repair, or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality. Test equipment following repairs to verify safe and proper operation. Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment- Preventive Maintenance Perform preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules and procedures.
Experience working with conveyor systems:
Working knowledge of: Bearings Belts and chains Motors and gearboxes Rollers and conveyors Basic pneumatics and hydraulics Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment. Basic computer skills and ability to document work electronically. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience in warehouse automation, distribution, or manufacturing environments. Basic electrical troubleshooting experience. CMMS experience (SAP, Maximo, Fiix, or similar systems). Bilingual (English/Spanish). Physical Requirements Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders for extended periods. Work in warehouse and industrial environments with varying temperatures. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternative shifts as business needs require.Schedule :

AM Pay Range:
$28.00-32.00 per hour- The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
