Property Management Maintenance Tech Lawrence, MA Apply Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep and repair of residential properties. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail oriented, and experienced in painting, flooring installation, and carpentry, with a working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. This role plays a key part in maintaining safe, functional, and well-presented units for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repairs across occupied and vacant units Paint apartments and common areas, including prep work and finish work ? Install and repair flooring (vinyl plank, laminate, tile, carpet, etc.) Perform carpentry work such as drywall repair, trim, doors, cabinets, and hardware installation Troubleshoot and complete basic electrical tasks (light fixtures, outlets, switches, breakers, etc.) Perform basic plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, sinks, leaks, clogs, minor pipe work) Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls in a timely manner Prepare units for turnover (make-ready) including inspections and punch-list completion Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment Communicate effectively with property management and residents Follow all safety procedures and local building codes Must have basic understanding of heating and cooling systems Winter on-call requirements, including: Required availability during snow events. Emergency response expectations Tools & equipment section: Must have their own basic tools. Specialized tools will be provided as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 2 to 3 years of maintenance or handyman experience, preferably in property management or residential buildings Proven experience in painting, flooring installation, and carpentry Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems Ability to read, document and close online work orders, and follow maintenance schedules Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation preferred EPA Certification (HVAC) a plus, but not required Bilingual (able to speak in English and Spanish)
