Job Description
St. Mary's Parish General Maintenance
This position entails comprehensive responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of
the interior and exterior spaces at St. Mary's Church and Rectory, St. Joseph's Church and B&B,
St. Mary of the Lakes Church and two cemeteries. Duties include plowing, shoveling, and
treatment of walkways and entryways at the rectory, churches, and B&B. During the summer
months, responsibilities will also include lawn maintenance at these properties and on the St.
Mary's School grounds.
This position will provide minor repairs at all sites and includes meeting with outside inspectors
for yearly inspections.
Working hours align with Mass schedules and special events, such as weddings, funerals, and
baptisms. As responsibilities may shift based on seasonal needs, adaptability is essential.
Furthermore, support to the school will be provided as necessary. Daily coordination will take
place with the Parish Secretary.
