Job Summary We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient functioning of critical facility systems while providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Ex-military is a plus. Occasional travel to be expected. Government security clearance a plus. Duties Operate HVAC systems, pumps, valves, electrical, mechanical and other industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose system problems accurately. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment to extend lifespan and improve efficiency. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Qualifications Proven experience with industrial maintenance, including mechanics, HVAC/R systems, plumbing, or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems repair, and engineering troubleshooting. Knowledge of industrial equipment operation and field service procedures. Ability to perform maintenance tasks safely while adhering to all safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
