Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, facility systems, tools, and building structures to help ensure safe and efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, is comfortable working with a variety of hand and power tools, and can diagnose mechanical and equipment issues. Experience in a manufacturing, construction, industrial, plumbing, electrical, or similar environment is highly preferred. This position requires someone who is a strong problem solver, works well independently, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can respond quickly to maintenance needs in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing equipment, tools, facilities, and building systems. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment-related issues and determine appropriate repair solutions. Perform general maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and equipment troubleshooting. Repair and maintain manufacturing machinery, production equipment, tools, and facility systems. Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment used in the manufacturing of tubs and related products. Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and construction-related repairs as needed. Complete facility improvement and construction projects as assigned. Safely operate and properly maintain hand tools, power tools, lifts, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, repair manuals, parts catalogs, and technical documentation. Use precision measuring instruments and electronic testing equipment when needed. Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance, repairs, inspections, and parts used. Identify and report major equipment issues, safety concerns, or repairs requiring outside contractors or specialized support. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and proper equipment-handling practices. Work closely with production and management teams to minimize equipment downtime and address maintenance issues efficiently. Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts. Assist with emergency or unexpected maintenance needs when necessary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience in building, facility, equipment, or manufacturing maintenance. High school diploma or GED required. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Construction experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to safely use tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, and related equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Experience performing preventive and routine maintenance. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair solutions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests in a busy manufacturing environment. Dependable, reliable, and safety-conscious. Positive and professional attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: Tub, spa, pool, or similar product manufacturing Manufacturing or industrial equipment maintenance Construction Plumbing Electrical Mechanical repair Carpentry Facilities maintenance Production machinery Equipment troubleshooting What We're Looking For We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who can identify a problem, figure out what needs to be done, and get the job completed safely and correctly . The right person will be comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, taking on both routine maintenance and unexpected repairs, and supporting the production team when equipment or facility issues arise.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
