Job Description

SUMMARY Performs routine, scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking of equipment, and changing belts, assists in the alteration or repairs to production and facility equipment and grounds, and other routine cleaning work as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on production equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc. Performs minor repairs to all equipment and building. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of Maintenance Manager.) Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. May assist with the implementation of fire safety procedures, conducts, and verifies that all fire extinguishers are operational. Ensures all extinguisher access ways are clear. Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required. Performs daily inspections of all equipment and reports any oil or water leak repairs needed. Performs repairs of these issues with supervisory direction. Performs daily checks on air compressor system and water-cooling system. Completes monthly safety checklist ensuring compliance on all safety related issues. Performs routine cleaning in an assigned area or areas to provide a safe work environment free of any slip hazards
Requirements :
Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in previous maintenance role. Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices within a manufacturing environment / preferably injection molding. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
