40182 Key Responsibilities & Details On-Call Maintenance Technician / Handyman - Berkshires We are looking for an experienced handyman/maintenance professional to provide on-call and emergency maintenance support for 3 residential properties in the Berkshires. This is a permanent, part-time/on-call position and would be a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent side work without committing to a full-time schedule. Pay is $25/hour

Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and general building repairs Troubleshoot maintenance issues and make necessary repairs Provide coverage when the primary maintenance staff is unavailable Communicate professionally with residents and property management

Requirements:

Strong handyman or property maintenance experience Ability to troubleshoot and handle a variety of basic repairs Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Comfortable responding to calls at night and during emergencies Dependable and able to work independently Must be comfortable with winter driving, snow, and traveling between properties

Ideal Location:

Pittsfield or north of Pittsfield to provide reasonable access to all three properties

rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
