Job Description

Maintenance Technician Lead responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, plant systems, facilities, and supporting maintenance personnel. Job Requirements Experience maintaining and repairing production machinery and facility equipment. Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience. Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience. Experience with pneumatic systems. Experience with hydraulic systems. Knowledge of PLC diagnostics. Familiarity with electronic controls. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders. Experience performing preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities. Basic HVAC maintenance experience. Basic plumbing maintenance experience. Basic electrical maintenance experience. Basic carpentry experience. Experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment. Basic math skills. Ability to obtain respirator certification. Ability to operate powered industrial equipment. Ability to operate snow blowers, lawnmowers, and small hand tools. Preferred Skills Experience leading or training maintenance personnel. Experience maintaining repair parts, equipment, and supply inventories. Experience performing facility inspections. Experience supporting emergency maintenance response. Experience with plant preventive maintenance programs. Job Responsibilities Maintain and repair production machines and plant facility equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic control systems. Diagnose equipment problems and replace or repair components. Test equipment and make required adjustments after repairs. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery, plant equipment, and facility systems. Perform basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry maintenance. Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment during maintenance activities. Implement preventive maintenance measures. Maintain inventory of maintenance equipment, repair parts, and supplies. Perform inspections of plant facilities and equipment. Respond to equipment failures and facility emergencies in accordance with safety procedures. Provide technical direction and training to maintenance personnel. Monitor maintenance work and provide performance feedback. Maintain clean and safe maintenance work areas. Support seasonal facility maintenance activities, including snow removal. Perform additional plant and equipment maintenance activities as required.
Pay:
