3008179465-2 Apply for this job now Job Description BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support safe, efficient operations in our high-volume wholesale environment. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, forklifts, and facility systems to reduce downtime and keep our clubs running smoothly. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, diagnosing and repairing motors, belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics, and accurately completing work orders and maintenance logs. You will partner with operations leaders to schedule repairs, follow strict safety and lockout/tagout procedures, and assist with facility projects and installations. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and building systems Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime Inspect, diagnose, and safely repair motors, belts, gears, pneumatics, and hydraulics Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and parts usage records accurately and on time Coordinate with operations leaders to schedule repairs with minimal disruption to club activities Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and company compliance procedures Assist with facility projects, installations, and upgrades as needed Collaborate with team members to identify process and equipment improvements Required Skills Mechanical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Conveyor and material handling systems Basic electrical repair Pneumatics Hydraulics Blueprints and schematics reading Lockout/Tagout procedures CMMS/work order systems Hand and power tools
