Description :

As a Production Set-up Mechanic

• 3rd shift, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety or routine manufacturing functions in one or more of the following areas:
• Setting up, calibrating and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
• Assisting in resolving routine manufacturing equipment related problems affecting daily operations.
• Recording maintenance activities in Cal PM software application.
• Communicating line performance at daily huddles. Required education, skills and experience to have success in this role:
• HS diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic fluidic and basic electronic control systems
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
• Ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable working autonomously or in small groups Must-Have Skills 1-3 years of experience setting up, maintaining, and repairing high-volume filling and packaging machinery Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, fluidic, and basic electronic control systems Experience with machine setup and calibration Ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment issues Ability to follow written work instructions and safety procedures Ability to work independently and in small teams Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance/office software High school diploma or GED Willingness to work 3rd shift / overnight schedule (11:00 PM-7:30 AM) #IND2 MB•R3
